This hog wire fence has been the most popular project on my site so I moved it to my home page to make it easier to find. See the details on the “How to Build a Beautiful Wood Fence with Hog Wire” tab in “Projects”. There are also instructions on how to build the fence panels in the comments section at the bottom.
I built an arbor for this part of the fence. The wisteria is just starting to grow.
Tnis matching bench was made from the same materials as the wood fence (see details under the “Products for Sale” tab.

Bret, this is awesome – I love it! Silly question from the naive – did you build around the old chain link fence posts (by removing only the chain link part) or completely remove the chain link fence and start anew with the one you built?

I removed the old chain link steel posts before installing the 4×4 wood posts. I just cut them off at ground level. The cement in a couple of the old post holes came out with difficulty. I offset the new posts from the old ones when possible so I wouldn’t have to dig up the cement up from the old ones.
